Dr Dayna Griffin

Dr Dayna Griffin is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to delivering patient-centred, whole-person care. With a strong focus on health optimisation and preventive healthcare, she adopts an integrative, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary approach to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of her patients. Dr Griffin combines conventional medical practices with evidence-informed complementary medicine to provide comprehensive, holistic treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Her clinical interests span a wide range of medical fields, with a particular emphasis on mental health, women's health, and paediatric care. As an accredited General Practitioner who provides focussed psychological strategies, Dr Griffin has completed extensive training in managing anxiety, depression, youth mental health, eating disorders, and substance use. She utilises evidence-based psychotherapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Additionally, she is skilled in women's health services, including preconception care, pregnancy support, and the insertion and removal of contraceptive devices, alongside providing comprehensive care in children's and men's health.

Dr Griffin has built a robust educational foundation to support her diverse clinical practice. She holds a Graduate Certificate of Psychiatric Medicine, a Graduate Diploma of Psychiatric Medicine, a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Diploma in Child Health. She is an active member of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), where she was honoured with the prestigious Brighthope Foundation award in 2025. Beyond her clinical duties, Dr Griffin contributes to the broader medical community by collaborating on evidence-based medical guidelines, participating in the education and training of future General Practitioners, and serving as an Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
