Dr Daya Jayaratne

Dr Daya Jayaratne is a highly dedicated Rehabilitation Physician and Rehabilitation Specialist who specialises in physical rehabilitation and Physiotherapy. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on helping individuals regain their independence, mobility, and quality of life following complex medical events. Dr Jayaratne is particularly committed to providing comprehensive care in neurorehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, and pain management, ensuring that each patient receives a tailored recovery programme designed to meet their unique physical and functional goals.

In his clinical practice, Dr Jayaratne works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic rehabilitation services. Dr Jayaratne completed his medical education, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1990. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM).
