Mr David Ying

Mr David Ying is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon based at Waverley Plastic Surgery and St. Vincent's Private Hospital. He specialises in reconstructive hand surgery, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation surgery, breast reduction surgery, male breast reduction surgery, and tummy tuck surgery. He also performs non-surgical rejuvenation treatments, including fillers and injections; these treatments are ideal for patients who do not wish to undergo surgery.

Mr Ying treats all his patients with respect and takes pride in listening to their needs and concerns in order to deliver the very best surgical and post-operative care. He has a gentle and professional approach and aims to fully understand his patients' goals and provide expert recommendations prior to any surgery.

He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Plastic Surgeons and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. He undertook his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and trained for two years in general surgery prior to specialising in plastic surgery. His plastic surgery training took place in a number of hospitals, including the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital.

He is currently involved in medical education and leads a team of plastic surgeons in Fiji once a year.
