Dr David Stewart

Dr David Stewart is a dedicated and highly reassuring General Practitioner with a strong clinical focus on Paediatrics and children's health. Approachable and thorough, he provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, with a particular interest in supporting the health, growth, and development of infants, children, and adolescents. Alongside his work in Paediatrics, Dr Stewart is highly skilled in managing a broad range of family medicine needs, including men's health, minor surgical procedures, and skin cancer medicine.

Dr Stewart completed his medical education in Scotland, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) and completed his postgraduate General Practitioner training. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, he holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the United Kingdom. To further expand his clinical capabilities, he also completed a Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine from Bond University.

Originally from Glasgow, Dr Stewart relocated to the Illawarra region, which has since become his permanent home. He lives locally with his wife and family, enjoying a strong connection to the community he serves. Outside of his medical practice, Dr Stewart is an active individual who enjoys playing the drums in a local rock band and supporting his favourite rugby league team. His warm, community-minded approach ensures that patients and their families receive compassionate, personalised care.
