Dr David Shum

Dr Shum is a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician. They have a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of dementia and perioperative assessment in older people. They are also interested in the promotion of healthy ageing through lifestyle advice and has conducted research in the management of frailty in older people.

Dr Shum is passionate about providing patient-centred care and building strong relationships with patients and their families. They believe in a holistic approach to healthcare, addressing not only the physical but also the emotional and social well-being of their patients.
