Dr David Laurence Foley

Dr David Laurence Foley is a dedicated and highly regarded General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary healthcare to the Richmond community. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of general medicine, with a particular focus on family health, preventative care, and supporting patients in managing their long-term well-being.

Dr Laurence Foley completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1992. Demonstrating a strong commitment to postgraduate training, he went on to obtain a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 1997, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He maintains active professional involvement as an accredited supervisor with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, contributing to the training and mentorship of medical students and future General Practitioners.

Throughout his career, Dr Laurence Foley has gained diverse clinical experience, beginning his journey as a trainee General Practitioner in Port Macquarie before completing a placement in Woy Woy, New South Wales. He has since established a long-standing presence in Richmond, where he is deeply integrated into the local healthcare landscape. In addition to his clinical duties, he serves on a regional General Practice Clinical Council, advising on strategies to improve community health outcomes and support primary care delivery.
