Dr David Henshaw

Dr David Henshaw is a Specialist General Physician and Geriatrician. They work as a Consultant Physician in general internal medicine, with a particular interest in medicine for older people. Dr Henshaw has an interest in a broad spectrum of illnesses, including management of heart, lung, endocrine (including diabetes), renal, neurological (including stroke) as well as chronic illness and degenerative illness. Often they will look after and assess patients with many of these illnesses together, attempting to achieve the optimum outcome for the patient and their family.

Dr Henshaw is recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians for previous qualifications in Geriatric Medicine and is happy to perform Complex Geriatric Assessments and cognitive assessments, particularly from a medical perspective. They are happy to assess patients for whom no clear diagnosis has been forthcoming and also provides telehealth services.
