Dr David Goubrial

Dr David Goubrial is a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Surgeon who provides comprehensive dental care with a focus on oral surgery. Reassuring and professional, he is committed to delivering patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment journey. His clinical approach combines technical precision with a compassionate manner, making him particularly adept at managing anxious patients and those requiring complex surgical interventions.

After completing his undergraduate dental degree, Dr Goubrial pursued advanced training in oral surgery within the oral and maxillofacial unit of a leading dental hospital in Melbourne. He further expanded his clinical expertise by training in a specialised hospital dental unit, where he focused on the management of immunocompromised and special needs patients. Dedicated to advancing the profession, Dr Goubrial serves as an Academic in Oral Surgery at both La Trobe University and the University of Melbourne, where he teaches and demonstrates surgical techniques to senior dental students and other General Dental and Medical Practitioners. He is also affiliated with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Dr Goubrial's clinical practice is highly focused on oral surgery and restorative dental procedures. His areas of particular interest include the surgical removal of teeth, impacted third molar (wisdom tooth) surgery, and pre-prosthetic alveolar reconstructive surgery, including bone grafting. He is also highly experienced in the placement of dental implants to restore function and aesthetics for patients with missing teeth.
