Dr David Bradshaw

Dr David Bradshaw is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hand, wrist, and upper-limb surgery, alongside general orthopaedic care. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred treatment for complex injuries and chronic conditions. With a clinical approach that prioritises restoring maximal function as safely and rapidly as possible, Dr Bradshaw utilises advanced, minimally-invasive techniques to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients.

His areas of clinical interest encompass a broad range of upper-limb and general orthopaedic procedures. Dr Bradshaw has extensive expertise in hand and wrist surgery, including microsurgery, arthroscopy, and endoscopic carpal tunnel release. His practice also covers joint replacement surgeries, such as hip and knee arthroplasty, as well as trauma and fracture management. Having previously worked as a qualified Physiotherapist, he possesses a unique and thorough understanding of the rehabilitation process, allowing him to work collaboratively with therapists, general practitioners, and rehabilitation coordinators to support patients through their recovery journey.

Dr Bradshaw completed his medical degree with Honours at the University of Sydney. He then undertook specialist orthopaedic training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. To further refine his skills, he completed advanced post-fellowship training in hand, wrist, and peripheral microsurgery at highly specialised hand surgery centres, and holds formal qualifications in hand surgery through a post-fellowship education and training programme. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Additionally, he is a member of the Australian Medical Association and the Australian Hand Surgery Society, and serves as a Director of Training.
