Dr Danielle Ferraro

Dr Danielle Ferraro is a medical oncologist with a particular interest in the management of breast and gastrointestinal cancers. They are involved in clinical trials and actively encourages patient participation in clinical research. Dr Ferraro is a member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Cancer Trials Group.

Dr Ferraro's PhD research focuses on potential biomarkers to improve the identification of patients who will benefit from targeted treatments for colorectal cancer. Their work has focused on the use of immunohistochemistry to look at particular biomarkers and determine which people are likely to benefit.
