Dr. Daniel Mark Fisher is a Fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialisation in hip and knee replacements, including the use of robotic-assisted surgery. He completed his orthopaedic training in Victoria and obtained his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Following his training, Dr. Fisher worked at Peninsula Health and further enhanced his expertise through a fellowship at the Perth Hip and Knee Clinic, where he gained extensive experience in all aspects of hip and knee replacement surgery, particularly with robotic assistance.
Before pursuing orthopaedics, Dr. Fisher worked as a physiotherapist, which has given him a holistic understanding of patient care. This background enables him to focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients. Dr. Fisher is also passionate about teaching and is actively involved in the education of junior medical staff. He currently serves as the Director of Orthopaedic Training at Moorabbin Hospital.
