Dr Daniel Leigh Wilson is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner and Rural Generalist who is deeply committed to providing equitable, patient-centred healthcare. As a versatile Specialist General Practitioner, Dr Leigh Wilson possesses a broad range of clinical interests that span the entire spectrum of primary care. He specialises in General Practice with advanced expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology, allowing him to provide comprehensive women's health services, including contraceptive advice and antenatal care. His clinical focus also extends to men's health, sexual health, and gender-affirming care for the LGBTQIA+ community. Furthermore, he is passionate about obesity medicine and lifestyle interventions, working collaboratively with patients to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

Dr Leigh Wilson completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours at Griffith University before earning his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2017. Committed to continuous professional development, he also obtained a Master of Health Leadership and Management from the University of New South Wales in 2022. He is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) and holds an Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG Adv). Additionally, he is an Associate Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (AFRACMA) and the Australasian College of Health Service Managers (ACHSM), reflecting his strong commitment to medical leadership and clinical governance.
