Dr Daniel Jones

Dr Daniel Jones is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, holistic healthcare. He believes that true health is more than just the absence of disease, focusing instead on fostering conscious wellbeing, preventative care, and patient education. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Jones works collaboratively with individuals to empower them in their health journeys and support their long-term wellness.

Dr Jones began his healthcare career by completing a Bachelor of Nursing with Honours. He then went on to study medicine, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). After gaining valuable clinical experience working in various rural and urban hospitals across Queensland, he relocated to northern New South Wales to pursue his passion for holistic medicine. He successfully completed his specialist postgraduate training to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Driven by an interest in integrating mind, body, and spirit health, he also completed studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, and is a member of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College. Additionally, he is certified as an Institute of Psychology of Eating Health Practitioner.

In his clinical practice, Dr Jones combines conventional medicine with evidence-based complementary therapies to offer a well-rounded approach to patient care. His areas of clinical interest include preventative health, lifestyle medicine, and medical acupuncture. He is also deeply passionate about community-driven healthcare initiatives and has volunteered his medical skills overseas to help train and empower local healthcare practitioners. Through his diverse training, Dr Jones aims to provide personalised, culturally appropriate, and sustainable care that addresses the unique needs of every patient.
