Dr Damien Polioudakis

Dr Damien Polioudakis is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-focused healthcare. He approaches every consultation with warmth and professionalism, ensuring that patients feel understood and supported throughout their medical journey. Believing in a collaborative approach to healthcare, Dr Polioudakis works closely with his patients to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly, empowering individuals to take an active role in managing their own health and wellbeing.

With a broad clinical background, Dr Polioudakis is highly experienced in all aspects of general practice. He has a particular interest in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and men's health. Additionally, he is highly skilled in sexual health, which includes providing STI screening, prescribing PrEP, and acting as an accredited s100 HIV community prescriber authorised to manage antiretroviral therapy. His procedural capabilities are also extensive, encompassing minor surgical procedures, general practice anaesthetics, and the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants.

Dr Polioudakis completed his medical education at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2003. Prior to transitioning into general practice, he gained valuable clinical experience working across emergency medicine, intensive care, and anaesthetics within various hospital environments. In 2012, he attained his professional fellowship, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
