Dr Daman Bhatia

Dr Daman Bhatia is an Australian-trained Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon and Otolaryngologist who provides comprehensive care for both adult and paediatric patients. He is highly regarded for his compassionate, patient-centred approach and has established a reputation for being exceptionally kind and approachable, particularly when treating children. Dr Bhatia completed his medical degree with distinction at the University of Newcastle in 2012. Committed to academic excellence, he went on to obtain a Master of Surgery in Otolaryngology from the University of Sydney in 2014, a Master of Public Health in 2014, and a Master of Health Management in 2015, both from the University of New South Wales. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Anatomy by Dissection from the University of New England, completed in 2013. Dr Bhatia is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, having completed his specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in 2023. Following this, he completed a prestigious international fellowship in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery, further refining his expertise in advanced nasal and sinus procedures.

His sub-specialist expertise lies in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery, where he treats complex nasal obstructions, recurrent sinusitis, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, and nasal or sinus tumours. He is also highly skilled in performing functional rhinoplasty and revision sinus surgery. For his younger patients, Dr Bhatia provides expert management for common paediatric concerns, including recurrent tonsillitis, middle ear infections, hearing loss, and sleep-disordered breathing.
