Dr. Rhydian Harris

Dr. Rhydian Harris is a highly experienced, dual fellowship-trained Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Surgeon, specialising in adult and paediatric ENT conditions. With international training and expertise in complex otology, neurotology, rhinology, and paediatric ENT, he is committed to delivering advanced, patient-focused care.

Dr. Harris graduated with honours from the prestigious Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School in London, while also completing an honours degree in Immunology at the University of London. After three years of surgical training in London teaching hospitals, he pursued a six-year higher ENT surgical training programme in Manchester, achieving Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2017.

His sub-specialist expertise was further enhanced through an Otology and Neurotology fellowship at the renowned Manchester Skull Base Unit, followed by advanced ear surgery training at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Hearing Implants Australia, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. To refine his surgical skills, he undertook clinical observerships across France, Italy, Australasia, and the USA, receiving advanced cochlear implant training. In 2023, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons.

Dr. Harris further specialised in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery, completing the Sydney Rhinology Fellowship and an additional fellowship at Westmead Hospital, where he also worked as a locum consultant. He completed specialist training at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, the UK’s largest and busiest paediatric hospital, where he developed a strong passion for managing childhood ENT conditions.

Dr. Harris focuses his clinical expertise on three key areas:

• Complex otology and neurotology, including cochlear implants and middle ear surgery
• Complex rhinology and rhinoplasty, including sinus and skull base surgery
• Paediatric ENT, managing conditions such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, and hearing issues

He consults at The ENT Care Hub, Suite 210 Westmead Private Hospital (where he is a co-founding director), and Suite 105 Norwest Private Medical Centre, while also providing outreach clinics at Port Macquarie ENT and Head & Neck Surgery. His operative care is delivered at Westmead Private Hospital, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Hospital, and Sydney Day Surgery Hospital.
