Dr Cosimo Stambe is a highly qualified Consultant Nephrologist and General Physician who provides comprehensive care for patients with kidney-related conditions and complex medical needs. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, he specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of renal disorders, ensuring that each individual receives personalised and evidence-based treatment. Dr Stambe completed his medical education at Monash University, graduating as the Dux of Medicine with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 1991. He subsequently undertook specialist training to qualify as a Physician and Renal Specialist. Committed to advancing medical knowledge, he completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focusing on inflammation in Renal Disease in 2003. Dr Stambe is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting his high standards of clinical excellence and dedication to his field.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr Stambe has held significant clinical leadership roles, including serving as the Director of a prominent renal transplant team in 2004.
