One of the best experiences I’ve ever encountered with a doctor. I sourced him from Google of all places not by referral (not my GP or medical team) and am really grateful for his expertise and insight.
Explained what I was there for and was very professional in the way that I could understand.
We were referred to Dr Clinton for an ongoing issue that was difficult to solve. He worked patiently with me, was incredibly helpful and his contact and communication was brilliant. He listened to my issues and took them seriously always following up with me. His advice and referral has hopefully resolved my recurring medical issue. I cannot recommend Dr Clinton highly enough. Thanks you.

“Golden staph” is the common name for Staphylococcus aureus, a type of bacteria that lives harmlessly on the skin or in the nose of many people but can cause serious infection if it enters the body through cuts, surgical wounds, drips, or medical devices. Some strains have become resistant to many standard antibiotics; these are known as MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus). MRSA can cause skin and soft‑tissue infections such as boils, abscesses, and cellulitis, as well as life‑threatening infections of the lungs, heart valves, bones, joints, and bloodstream. MRSA can be acquired in hospitals or other healthcare settings, particularly in patients with recent surgery, indwelling lines, dialysis, or long antibiotic courses. It can also spread in the community, including among otherwise healthy people, through close skin‑to‑skin contact or sharing personal items like towels or razors. Warning signs include red, painful, swollen skin lesions (often mistaken for “spider bites”), pus‑filled boils, fever, or feeling generally unwell. Because MRSA is resistant to many first‑line antibiotics, using the wrong treatment can allow infection to worsen or spread. Good hygiene reduces the risk of MRSA spreading. This includes regular handwashing, covering wounds, avoiding sharing personal items, and careful cleaning of high‑touch surfaces. In hospitals, additional precautions such as screening swabs, isolation, gowns, and gloves may be used to protect vulnerable patients. If MRSA infection is suspected or confirmed, review by an Infectious Diseases Specialist is important to choose the right antibiotics, decide when drainage or surgery is needed, and plan decolonisation (for example, with special creams or washes) where appropriate to reduce future risk.
