Dr Christopher James Garside is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred medical care. Dr Garside enjoys working across all areas of General Practice, offering comprehensive support to individuals and families to help them achieve optimal health and well-being.

Dr Garside obtained his primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), from Keele Medical School in the United Kingdom. Following his graduation, he completed his postgraduate training in General Practice in Manchester, North West England, where he earned his membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). His extensive training in the United Kingdom has provided him with a robust foundation in family medicine, which he now brings to his practice in Australia.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Garside is particularly passionate about chronic disease management, including the ongoing care of patients with asthma, diabetes, and cardiovascular health concerns. He also has a keen interest in diagnosing and managing skin conditions, as well as addressing ear, nose, and throat (ENT) disorders. Dr Garside focuses on preventative medicine and patient education, empowering individuals to take an active role in managing their health and lifestyle.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr Garside enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. He is an avid follower of football, particularly supporting Manchester United Football Club, and enjoys playing tennis and golf. Having relocated to Australia with his wife, he appreciates the opportunity to take full advantage of the beautiful outdoor lifestyle and warm weather.
