Dr Christina Jane Baker

Dr Christina Jane Baker is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families. With a strong belief in the power of patient education, Dr Baker focuses on empowering her patients by sharing clear, accessible information about their health conditions and treatment options. Dr Baker completed her initial medical training in New Zealand, where she gained diverse clinical experience across several hospitals. After relocating to Western Australia, she worked extensively in local hospital emergency departments, further refining her acute care skills. She subsequently completed her formal Australian General Practice Fellowship, qualifying as a specialist General Practitioner. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, Dr Baker is also an active member of the Australasian Menopause Society.

In her clinical practice, Dr Baker has developed a broad range of special interests, with a particular focus on women's health, travel medicine, and family care. She leads a dedicated travel medicine service, providing comprehensive pre-travel advice and vaccinations to ensure safe journeys. Additionally, she is highly experienced in managing women's health concerns, including contraception, menopause assessments, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and perinatal mental health. Her holistic approach also extends to adolescent health, child health, and general mental health support.
