Dr Celia Angela Smith

Dr Celia Smith is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, personalised care to patients of all ages. With a warm and reassuring approach, she focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with her patients to support them through every stage of their health journey. Dr Smith enjoys all aspects of general medicine, with a particular focus on preventative care and helping individuals achieve optimal well-being.

Dr Smith completed her medical training at the University of Tasmania, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2014, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science. Committed to continuous professional development, she has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Surgical Science and the Sydney Child Health Project (formerly the Diploma in Child Health). Additionally, she has undertaken specialised training in Implanon insertion and is certified as an Antenatal Shared Care Provider.

Throughout her career, Dr Smith has gained diverse clinical experience working in various locations along the eastern seaboard of Australia. Her key areas of clinical interest include women's health, paediatric medicine, and skin cancer medicine. In addition to her work as a General Practitioner, she also practices as a Skin Cancer Doctor and regularly assists a General Surgeon with operating lists, ensuring her patients receive comprehensive and thorough care.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr Smith enjoys staying active and connecting with nature. She can often be found spending time in the ocean, exploring local hiking trails, or discovering new culinary experiences.
