Dr Catherine Liu

Dr Catherine Liu is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, she is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals and families at every stage of life. Dr Liu enjoys the full breadth of General Practice, offering personalised medical care that addresses both acute concerns and long-term health management.

Dr Liu completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of New South Wales, graduating in 2002. Committed to clinical excellence, she went on to obtain a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and actively contributes to the medical community as an Examiner for the college, whilst also being involved in medical education.

In her clinical practice, Dr Liu has developed several areas of special interest, with a particular focus on paediatrics and the wellbeing of families, women, and children. She is accredited to provide shared antenatal care and offers expert guidance in pre-pregnancy planning, family planning, and sexual health. Her broad clinical expertise also encompasses chronic disease management, skin cancer medicine, minor surgery, and procedures such as Mirena removal and Implanon insertion and removal.
