Dr Camilla Stevens

Dr Camilla Stevens is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who is deeply passionate about providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare. With a strong clinical focus on women's health, she is committed to delivering individualised treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Dr Stevens is known for her meticulous approach, attention to detail, and reassuring manner, ensuring that patients feel supported and heard throughout their medical journey.

Throughout her career, Dr Stevens has developed extensive expertise across a broad range of medical fields. Her primary clinical interest lies in women's health, where she provides expert guidance on all aspects of reproductive and preventative care. She is highly proficient in performing various contraceptive procedures, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine contraceptive devices, such as Mirena, as well as Implanon. Additionally, she is experienced in conducting cervical screenings and is a preferred provider of shared antenatal care, supporting expectant mothers through their pregnancy journeys. Her diverse clinical background also encompasses experience in emergency medicine, cardiology, palliative care, and paediatrics.

Dr Stevens obtained her medical degree from Otago University in 1996. Following her initial post-graduate training, she pursued further specialised education, completing a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She completed her General Practice training on a dedicated rural pathway and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
