Prof. Bruce Singh

Professor Bruce Singh is a highly distinguished Psychiatrist who provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. With a career dedicated to clinical excellence, research, and medical education, he is committed to helping patients navigate complex mental health challenges. Throughout his career, Prof. Singh has developed deep expertise in managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions. His clinical focus encompasses general adult psychiatry, with a particular interest in the assessment and management of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. Additionally, he is highly skilled in treating complex conditions such as psychosis and schizophrenia, utilising both pharmacological interventions and psychotherapy to support his patients' long-term well-being.

Prof. Singh completed his medical training at the University of Sydney, qualifying in 1968 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours. He subsequently earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and has been recognised with numerous academic accolades, including an honorary Doctor of Medical Science. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). His outstanding contributions to the field of mental health have also earned him prestigious international recognitions, including being named an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and an International Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Furthermore, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his service to medicine.
