Dr Brodie James Hookins

Dr Brodie James Hookins is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-focused care for individuals of all ages. He is highly skilled in paediatric medicine, supporting children's health and development, as well as men's and women's health. His extensive training allows him to offer specialised services such as maternal and antenatal care, family planning, and sexual health. Additionally, Dr Hookins has a strong interest in mental health, lifestyle medicine, and skin cancer medicine, including performing thorough skin checks and surgical procedures.

Dr Hookins completed his Bachelor of Molecular Biology and Biological Chemistry at the University of Oslo in Norway, before earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney in 2016. He gained valuable clinical experience working across obstetrics, gynaecology, and emergency departments at several major metropolitan and regional hospitals, as well as practising rural medicine in regional New South Wales. Dr Hookins achieved his specialist General Practitioner fellowship in 2023 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He holds additional certificates in women's health, paediatric medicine, and mental health, alongside advanced training in skin cancer medicine and surgical excisions.
