Dr Binita Sharma is a dedicated and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in providing comprehensive mental health care to patients aged 21 years and over. With a clinical approach that is deeply patient-centred, collaborative, and non-judgemental, she focuses on fostering supportive and understanding therapeutic relationships. Dr Sharma is committed to delivering empathetic, evidence-based care that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual, helping them achieve the best possible mental health outcomes.

Throughout her career, Dr Sharma has developed a broad range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's mental health and complex mood and anxiety disorders. Her expertise extends to the assessment and management of conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, other psychotic disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Dr Sharma completed her medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and subsequently earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Psychiatry from Ranchi University in India. Her professional journey spans significant clinical work in both India and Australia, enriching her practice with diverse clinical insights.
