Dr Ban Mohammed

Dr Ban Mohammed is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. Dr Mohammed completed her medical education in Iraq, earning her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Al-Mustansiriyah University's College of Medicine in 1996. Committed to advancing her clinical expertise, she later obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Women's Health (DOWH) from the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists in Ireland in 2010. She holds full registration with the Australian Medical Council and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Throughout her career, Dr Mohammed has gained extensive clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings, including roles as a Medical Officer in emergency, rural, and hospital departments. She has also worked as a General Practitioner in both private and government sectors internationally, and has held Specialist positions where she developed advanced skills in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound scans. Her primary areas of clinical interest include Women's Health, minor surgical procedures, and skin excisions.
