Dr Anthony Alvaro

Dr Anthony Alvaro is a highly regarded Consultant Neurologist and Stroke Specialist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions. Based in Murdoch, Western Australia, he is dedicated to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based medical care. Dr Alvaro is known for his reassuring and methodical approach, ensuring that patients feel fully supported and informed throughout their diagnostic and treatment journeys.

Dr Alvaro completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 1995. Following his graduation, he undertook extensive specialist training in neurology across several major tertiary hospitals in Western Australia, culminating in his admission as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2004. To further refine his expertise, he completed advanced sub-speciality training in stroke medicine in Sydney, followed by a dedicated fellowship in electrophysiology in New Zealand.
