Dr Anne-Carlijn Sofie Merry

Dr Anne-Carlijn Sofie Merry, also known warmly to her patients as Dr Anneke, is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She strongly believes in empowering her patients by ensuring they are thoroughly educated about their health and all available management options. Reassuring and supportive, she takes great pride in guiding individuals and families through every stage of their unique health journeys.

Dr Sofie Merry graduated with honours from a university in Rotterdam in 2007. To further her expertise, she obtained a Diploma of Child Health from a hospital in Sydney. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds certification from the Australian Medical Council (AMC).

Prior to transitioning into General Practice, Dr Sofie Merry built a diverse clinical foundation by working in adult medicine and paediatrics across several major hospitals, alongside serving as an after-hours home doctor. She has developed a strong clinical interest in women's health, offering support that ranges from contraception, including intrauterine device (IUD) procedures, to menopause management. Her other key areas of focus include children's health, antenatal care, and chronic disease management.
