Dr Anna Schutz

Dr Anna Schutz is a highly dedicated Neurologist and Neurophysiologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering precise diagnoses and tailored management plans to improve her patients' quality of life. Her clinical practice encompasses general neurology, with a particular focus on neuromuscular disorders and neurophysiology, ensuring that individuals receive expert guidance and support throughout their treatment journey.

In addition to her general neurological practice, Dr Schutz has completed advanced sub-speciality training in several key areas. Her clinical interests include the management of multiple sclerosis, stroke, epilepsy, and functional neurological disorders. She is also highly skilled in specialised treatments, such as the administration of botulinum toxin for the management of chronic migraines, spasticity, and tremors. Furthermore, she is actively involved in clinical research, contributing to advancements in the treatment of Motor Neurone Disease and Alzheimer's Disease.

Dr Schutz completed her medical education at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours in 2002, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 2006. She subsequently undertook extensive training as a Specialist at major teaching hospitals, culminating in a Fellowship in neuromuscular neurology and neurophysiology. Committed to education and the development of future medical professionals, she also serves as a Clinical Lecturer, sharing her expertise with the next generation of Doctors.
