Professor Peter Silburn is a distinguished neurologist with an international reputation for his contributions to clinical practice, research, and education. His specialist training in neurology included a fellowship in clinical neurology, with experience at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford, where he also contributed as a lecturer in neurology at the University of Oxford.
Professor Silburn has played a pioneering role in advancing neuromodulation, establishing several centres across Australia and contributing as a founding member of advisory groups for deep brain stimulation technologies. He currently serves as Clinical and Education Director of the Asia Pacific Centre for Neuromodulation at the Queensland Brain Institute.

Professor Silburn has been treating me for 10 years , has always been very professional and supportive, he shows an interest in you as a person so you don’t feel like just a number. He has away of distracting you by conversation so I hardly feel the injections. He is always willing to listen to any health issues. Professor Silburn is an amazing human without his help over the years I would hate to think where I would be as far as my health goes .
