Dr Anna Nelson

Dr Anna Nelson is a clinical and laboratory Haematologist. Dr Nelson graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2009.

Dr Nelson completed haematology training through Liverpool Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. This was followed by a subspecialty fellowship year at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in red cell disorders and clinical trials.

In 2019 Dr Nelson was accepted into the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as a General Physician and became a Specialist Haematologist in 2020 following acceptance into the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA). Dr Nelson has a strong interest in public health, completing a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine through James Cook University in 2018.
