Dr Angel Babu

Dr Angel Babu is a dedicated Specialist Paediatric Dentist who is passionate about providing comprehensive oral healthcare for infants, children, and adolescents. She believes in motivating young patients to prevent dental issues and educating families on how to maintain a healthy smile for life. Her patient-centred approach focuses on respecting and caring for children using age-appropriate techniques, ensuring that every visit is a positive and reassuring experience.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Babu specialises in managing complex dental cases. Her areas of expertise include behaviour management for anxious children, treating dental trauma, and addressing dental problems related to sleep issues. She is also highly skilled in managing children with a high risk of dental caries, hypomineralisation (commonly known as chalky teeth), and providing specialised care for medically compromised or special needs children. To ensure maximum comfort, she offers treatments under oral sedation, nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and general anaesthesia.

Dr Babu completed her advanced training at the University of Otago in New Zealand, graduating with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Paediatric Dentistry in 2016. Following her graduation, she gained extensive clinical experience working as a Senior Dental Registrar at a leading children's hospital in Melbourne, as well as practising as a Specialist Paediatric Dentist in New Zealand. She is a registered Specialist Paediatric Dentist in both Australia and New Zealand.
