Dr Andrew Pluta

Dr Andrew Pluta is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Throughout his career, Dr Pluta has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He provides expert care in family medicine, with particular focus areas including children's health, men's health, and women's health. He is highly skilled in skin cancer checks and skin cancer surgery. Additionally, Dr Pluta possesses specialised qualifications in managing complex health conditions, including addiction medicine, and is certified to prescribe treatments for HIV and Hepatitis C. He also holds a sub-specialty interest in middle ear assessments and ear problems affecting children, as well as individuals who fly or dive, utilising tympanometry to deliver precise diagnoses.

Dr Pluta completed his medical training at the University of Queensland Medical School, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He qualified as a Registered General Medical Practitioner in 1988. Over the course of his career, he has been actively involved with numerous prominent healthcare organisations.
