Dr Amitee Mary Ellen Ryan

Dr Amitee Mary Ellen Ryan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, holistic healthcare to patients of all ages. Born in Toowoomba, Queensland, she has established a strong presence on the Mid North Coast, where she delivers patient-centred care. Dr Ryan believes in a holistic approach to medicine, ensuring that each patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique health journey. Her warm and reassuring manner helps to foster a supportive environment, making her a trusted partner in family health.

Dr Ryan completed her medical degree, obtaining her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of New South Wales. She undertook her clinical training at the Rural Clinical School on the Mid North Coast, followed by her internship and residency at a local base hospital. Dr Ryan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Committed to continuous professional development, she has also completed the Sydney Child Health Programme, the Advanced Paediatric Life Support Course, and holds an Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine.

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr Ryan enjoys all aspects of General Practice. She is particularly passionate about children's and young people's health, having pursued advanced training to work as a Rural Generalist in Paediatrics. Her clinical interests encompass General Paediatrics, Developmental Paediatrics, and Neonatology. Additionally, she is highly skilled in preventative medicine, women's health, chronic disease management, and skin cancer medicine. Dr Ryan also finds great fulfilment in participating in antenatal shared care, supporting mothers and their babies from pregnancy through to early childhood.
