Dr Amanda Ormerod

Dr Ormerod is a Haematologist who trained at the University of Sydney. They completed their advanced training at Barwon Health, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peninsula Health. Dr Ormerod was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists in 2015.

Before studying medicine, Dr Ormerod worked as a medical scientist for four years in Tanzania. They have also worked across Victorian and Tasmanian hospitals to support their transfusion needs while working at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

Dr Ormerod is passionate about rural medicine and joined Dorevitch Pathology to work in the Gippsland region.
