Dr Alix Armstrong

Dr Alix Armstrong is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to patients in Toowong, Australia. Dr Armstrong completed her medical degree at Griffith University, graduating in 2011. Following her graduation, she completed her internship and residency training at a major regional hospital in Queensland. In 2014, she returned to Brisbane to focus on community-based care, subsequently obtaining her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016. To further her expertise in paediatric care, she completed postgraduate studies, earning a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney. Prior to her medical career, Dr Armstrong completed a degree in Occupational Therapy and worked as an Occupational Therapist, which provides her with a unique, holistic perspective on patient rehabilitation and well-being.

Her advanced training includes specialised procedures such as Implanon contraceptive insertion and removal.
