Dr Aline Smith

Dr Aline Smith is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a clinical focus on managing complex chronic diseases, she is committed to delivering long-term, personalised care to patients across all stages of life. Dr Smith adopts a holistic approach to medicine, ensuring that each patient receives tailored support that prioritises their overall well-being and daily functioning.

Dr Smith completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of New South Wales, qualifying in 1986. Committed to continuous professional development, she later obtained a Master of Mental Health (GP) from the NSW Institute of Psychiatry in 2016, where she was recognised with the Director's Award, as well as a Master of Health Professional Education. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Additionally, she holds active membership with the Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA).

Beyond general medicine, Dr Smith has a profound interest in mental health, disability support, and neurodevelopmental care, particularly supporting individuals and families navigating autism spectrum disorder. She is authorised to provide ADHD medication continuation services for stabilised paediatric and adult patients. Her expertise also extends to antenatal shared care, supporting expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journeys.
