Dr Alifa Khan

Dr Alifa Khan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on building strong, trusting relationships with her patients to ensure they receive personalised care tailored to their unique health needs. Dr Khan believes in the importance of clear communication and cultural understanding, which allows her to support diverse communities and help patients navigate their health journeys with confidence and reassurance.

Dr Khan completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka University, qualifying in 2006. After relocating to Australia, she began practising as a rural General Practitioner. She was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016. Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Khan also achieved a Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine in 2023, further enhancing her clinical capabilities.

Throughout her career, Dr Khan has developed a broad range of clinical interests, allowing her to provide holistic care across all stages of life. She has a particular interest in women's and children's health, geriatric medicine, and the management of complex and chronic disease comorbidities, including musculoskeletal diseases. Additionally, she is highly skilled in addressing mental health disorders and dermatology, and she offers specialised expertise in skin cancer surgical management. Her diverse skillset ensures that patients receive comprehensive and expert medical attention.
