Dr Alfredo Aiello

Dr Alfredo Aiello is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a long-standing career spanning both Argentina and Australia, he has developed a broad clinical skillset that allows him to address a diverse range of patient needs. Dr Aiello is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare, combining his clinical expertise with an approachable and reassuring manner that helps patients feel at ease.

Throughout his career, Dr Aiello has cultivated a wide range of clinical interests. He has extensive experience in general surgery, emergency medicine, and rural healthcare, which equips him to manage complex and urgent medical situations effectively. His areas of focus also include skin cancer medicine, child health and paediatrics, women's health, and mental health. Additionally, as a certified Sclerotherapist, he is skilled in treating vascular conditions. Dr Aiello is also known for his inclusive approach, providing supportive care to the LGBTIQA+ community and advocating for community health.

Dr Aiello completed his medical studies at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He later served as Chief of Residents in General Surgery in Argentina from 1996 to 1997. After relocating to Australia, he attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Additionally, he completed further specialised training to become a certified Sclerotherapist with the Australasian College of Phlebology in 2015. Committed to medical education, he has mentored numerous Medical Students and Junior Doctors, receiving a Certificate of Appreciation for his contributions to medical education from the University of Queensland in 2009.
