Dr Alexandra Bence

Dr Alexandra Bence is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to patients across all stages of life, from infancy through to the elderly. She thoroughly enjoys the inherent diversity of General Practice and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional clinical approach, Dr Bence focuses on building strong, collaborative relationships with her patients to support their long-term health and well-being.

Dr Bence graduated with her medical degree from the University of Tasmania in 2010. Following her graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience by completing a diverse range of hospital rotations in Hobart and Geelong. She subsequently completed her specialist general practice training and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She is also recognised as a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner.

In her clinical practice, Dr Bence has developed a broad range of special interests, with a strong focus on preventative healthcare, women's health, and child health. She is highly experienced in managing mental health concerns and providing supportive care in geriatric medicine and aged care. Additionally, she is fully trained to perform specific clinical procedures, including iron infusions and the insertion and removal of Implanon NXT, and she offers comprehensive shared antenatal care for expectant mothers.
