Dr Alexander Amory

Dr Alexander Amory is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, he is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Amory focuses on delivering high-quality medical care tailored to the unique needs of each patient, fostering a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and supported.

Dr Amory completed his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2012. Committed to advancing his clinical expertise, he went on to obtain a Graduate Diploma of Child Health from the University of Western Sydney in 2023. He achieved his specialist qualification in General Practice and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2021.

Before transitioning to General Practice, Dr Amory gained valuable clinical experience working in the emergency department of a major hospital in Sydney. This diverse background equipped him with robust skills in managing acute medical conditions. He subsequently returned to Newcastle to focus on family medicine. Dr Amory has developed a strong clinical interest in child and adolescent health, mental health, travel medicine, women's health, and chronic disease management, ensuring his patients receive well-rounded and preventative healthcare.
