Mrs Alex Smallman

Alex Smallman is an experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in hand and upper limb rehabilitation.

She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at the University of South Australia and has over 14 years of clinical experience treating hand and upper limb conditions.

In 2020, she achieved accreditation as a Hand Therapist through the Australian Hand Therapy Association, reflecting advanced competency in specialist upper limb rehabilitation.

She currently works as an Occupational Therapist at GRIP Hand Therapy, where she focuses on assessment and rehabilitation of hand, wrist, and upper limb conditions resulting from injury, surgery, or chronic dysfunction.

Her clinical work centres on restoring hand function, improving strength and dexterity, and supporting patients through structured rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual goals and recovery stages.
