Dr De Marco began her academic journey by completing a Bachelor of Commerce. Her passion for medicine and patient care was sparked whilst working as a Medical Receptionist in several hospitals in London. This experience inspired her to return to Australia, where she completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.

Throughout her career, Dr De Marco has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is highly experienced in Women's Health, including cervical screening and the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants. Her expertise also spans Paediatrics, shared obstetric care, Mental Health, and Geriatric Medicine. Additionally, she is deeply committed to supporting patients through Palliative Care and regularly visits local residential aged care facilities to provide ongoing medical support to elderly residents.
