Dr Akash Thakkar is a highly qualified General Practitioner with a dedicated focus on skin health, dermatology, and aesthetic medicine. He is deeply committed to providing comprehensive care to his patients, combining his broad general practice expertise with specialised skills in the prevention, early detection, and management of skin cancers. Dr Thakkar completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Sydney in 2012. He went on to achieve a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. Committed to continuous professional development, he also holds a Diploma in Dermatology from the Australian Institute of Dermatology, awarded in 2015, as well as a Professional Certificate of Aesthetic Medicine and an Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine, both completed in 2022.
