Dr Ajay Kumar Terli

Dr Ajay Kumar Terli is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning multiple medical disciplines, he is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr Terli focuses on building strong, trust-based relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel supported and well-informed throughout their health journeys.

Dr Terli completed his primary medical education in India, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2001. Following his graduation, he relocated to the United Kingdom in 2003, where he undertook extensive postgraduate training across a diverse range of medical specialities. This rigorous training culminated in his qualification as a General Practitioner in 2009. He holds professional memberships including the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the United Kingdom and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Prior to focusing on family medicine, Dr Terli gained invaluable experience working in several hospital-based specialities, including Orthopaedics, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), Accident and Emergency, Stroke and Rehabilitation, Endocrinology, Paediatrics and Neonatology, and Gynaecology. This diverse background has equipped him with a versatile skill set, allowing him to manage complex clinical scenarios with confidence. He has a particular interest in Emergency Medicine, Musculoskeletal Medicine, and Chronic Disease Management. Additionally, he is proficient in performing various minor surgical procedures, such as skin lesion excisions, ingrowing toenail surgery, venesections, and iron infusions.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Terli is passionate about medical education and is actively involved in mentoring and training Medical Students and Registrars. He believes in fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals through hands-on guidance and evidence-based teaching. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys staying active through hiking and bike riding, and he is deeply involved in his local community, where he spends time coaching a local soccer team.
