Dr Ahmad Sayed Hasanien

Dr Ahmad Sayed Hasanien is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care with a patient-centred approach. Dr Hasanien believes in taking the time to understand each individual's unique circumstances, focusing on preventative medicine, patient education, and long-term health outcomes to support his patients in achieving a healthier lifestyle.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Hasanien has developed significant expertise in skin cancer detection and treatment. He performs thorough full-body skin cancer checks, spot checks, and minor surgical procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic mole removals. His clinical focus also extends to women's health, where he provides specialised care in obstetrics and gynaecology, including the insertion and removal of contraceptive devices such as Mirena, copper IUDs, and Implanon. Additionally, he is highly skilled in children's health, men's health, chronic disease management, and non-surgical facial aesthetics.

Dr Hasanien completed his medical education at Ain Shams University in Egypt, graduating with distinction with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) in 2004. To further his expertise, he obtained a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and an Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (Adv. DRANZCOG). He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
