Dr Adrian De Angelis

Dr Adrian De Angelis is a highly qualified and dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes. Dr De Angelis is committed to providing the highest standard of surgical care, ensuring that his patients feel fully informed and comfortable throughout their treatment journey. His clinical expertise spans a wide range of procedures, from routine oral surgery to complex reconstructive and corrective jaw surgeries.

Dr De Angelis completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours at the University of Melbourne in 2005, before embarking on specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He went on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Maxillofacial Surgery in 2010 and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2012, both from the University of Melbourne. In 2018, he achieved his specialist qualification and Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. To further refine his expertise, Dr De Angelis undertook prestigious post-fellowship training in head and neck cancer surgery at leading hospitals in the United Kingdom, sponsored by the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, and completed a Master's thesis in oncology at the University of Melbourne.

In addition to his extensive clinical training, Dr De Angelis has a strong interest in academic research and education. He has lectured and demonstrated in maxillofacial surgery at the tertiary level and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific literature, focusing primarily on facial trauma and head and neck oncology. His dedication to academic excellence has been recognised with multiple awards, including a prestigious scholarship from the Pierre Fauchard Academy. His broad clinical interests include corrective jaw surgery, bone grafting, dental implantology, and the management of salivary gland diseases, temporomandibular joint disorders, and oral pathology.
