Dr Aditya Hegde

Dr Aditya Hegde is a highly qualified and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care. With a clinical focus that spans across various stages of life, Dr Hegde specialises in General Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Perinatal Psychiatry. He is committed to delivering patient-centred care, working collaboratively with individuals to understand their unique experiences and support them on their path to mental well-being.

In his clinical practice, Dr Hegde has a particular interest in managing anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders. He utilises evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with a strong emphasis on psychodynamic psychotherapy. By integrating medical expertise with psychotherapeutic approaches, Dr Hegde offers a holistic treatment model tailored to the diverse needs of his patients, helping them navigate complex emotional and psychological challenges in a supportive environment.

Dr Hegde completed his medical degree at Rajiv Gandhi University, graduating in 2010. He holds both a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Doctor of Medicine (MD). To further his expertise, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship specialising in obsessive-compulsive disorders. Dr Hegde is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He is also an active Member of both the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry and the Faculty of Psychotherapy within the RANZCP, ensuring his practice remains aligned with the highest standards of psychiatric care.
