Dr Adam Cooper is a highly dedicated Medical Oncologist who provides compassionate, patient-centred care. He specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and medical management of various types of cancer. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Cooper is committed to guiding his patients through every stage of their cancer journey, ensuring they receive comprehensive support and personalised treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

As an active member of multidisciplinary cancer care teams, Dr Cooper collaborates closely with other specialists, including Surgeons, Radiation Oncologists, and Nurses, to co-ordinate the highest standard of care. His clinical interests span general oncology, with a particular focus on clinical trials and early-phase trials of novel cancer treatments. He is dedicated to integrating the latest scientific advancements into clinical practice, offering patients access to innovative therapies and supportive care.

Dr Cooper completed a science degree prior to pursuing his medical studies. He holds a Master of Clinical Epidemiology and has completed advanced specialist training in Medical Oncology, achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Cooper is deeply involved in medical research and education. He serves as a university Lecturer, teaching Medical Students and Junior Doctors, and has undertaken doctoral research focusing on novel treatments for prostate cancer.
